Graduate Triton Weeks of Welcome 2025

The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA) and the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) plan a series of annual events for new graduate students to introduce you to the UC San Diego campus community. Information will be emailed to new students and posted here as it becomes available. Instructional Assistant (IA) Symposium 

Who is this for? All Instructional Assistants and those who support them are welcome! Instructional Assistant, or IA, is an umbrella term that includes teaching assistants, instructional apprentices, readers, and tutors.

Join us on Zoom for the Teaching & Learning Commons' annual IA Teaching Symposium, featuring keynote panels with experienced IAs, interactive workshops with strategies to engage students, and access to an asynchronous library of concise and just-in-time videos and online resources.

TWOW 2025 marks the second annual Common Read at UC San Diego. The UC San Diego Common Read program identifies a book for new first-year, transfer and graduate students to engage in a shared experience as the newest members of our Triton community. Triton Weeks of Welcome 

Triton Weeks of Welcome (TWOW) ia a campus-wide series of introductory activities, special programs, and signature events. Held at the start of fall quarter each year, all students are welcome to participate. For more information, please visit the TWOW website.
